Concepts	Data Mining		ATAC's new Concepts module is a groundbreaking method for mining, querying, and searching through crime data. You will begin by defining a concept that describes an item or action. Once the Concept is developed, you can combine Concepts using Regular Expressions to recover any kind of information imaginable.	Same powerful query language as found in Google. Leverage the powerful Regular Expressions language to uncover hidden information in any structured or unstructured data. COMPSTAT	Statistical Reporting		ATAC performs the most common COMPSTAT related statistics for your monthly or annual comparisons. ATAC can break down each of your focused values based on percent change for year to year, number of events per day, and expected frequencies. ATAC also alerts you to values that exceed your norms.	Create daily, weekly and monthly COMPSTAT reports against any data in seconds. Create annual and monthly comparisons, percent change, year to data comparisons, daily averages, weekly averages, and more. Receive alerts when thresholds or norms are exceeded for crimes, calls, or any category of data. Inform your regular COMPSTAT meetings of temporal fluctuations. Export your COMPSTAT report to RTF files.
Temporal Analysis	Visualization		ATAC can complete Exact Time Analysis, Weighted Method, Equal Opportunity, Midpoint Analysis, and Day of the Week Analysis. You can then choose individual or ranges of times to determine cumulative or hourly percentages. The Time Series Module will display the results of the temporal distributions through an area, line, or bar graph.	Forecast next event using more than one dozen proven techniques. Identify speed and pattern changes with Variograms and Tempo analysis. Find relationships between the timing of events and value stolen to uncover hidden motivation, relationships, and to forecast the next event based on these relationships.
Calendaring	Visualization		Create and view calendars with important events. Export all or a selection of data in several popular data formats including: text, dBase IV, HTML, XML, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.	Import and analyze data from any data source. Data Entry	Data Management		ATACs data entry module allows for rapid entry of large amounts of data. There are several time saving features such as one character recognition values, spacebar defaults, point and click functionality, and automatically calculated variables. ATAC also provides voice recognition and dictation so you can speak to ATAC and have it enter data.	Modify any editable data. Use drop lists and quick formatting to streamline entry. Even modify data stored in queries.
Reporting Module	Reporting		ATAC now provides two reporting modules to increase the ability to produce both pre-configured and ad-hoc reports. Graphs and Charts	Reporting		ATAC allows you to visualize your analysis with a variety of customizable charts and graphs. With a few clicks, ATAC will generate graphs and reports that can be exported for distribution throughout your agency.	Creates stunning 3D graphs and Charts. Send all your analytical findings to more than 100 reports that can be exported to PDF, RTF, or HTML for quick publishing on an Intranet or Internet website. Turn complex analytical findings into easy to understand and visually stunning graphs and charts.
Encryption and protection	Security		ATAC provides for database encryption and password protection. ATAC also provides for the administration of ATAC users. Each user provides a unique ID and password which enables or disables features in ATAC as set by an ATAC manager. User logging and tracking also allows a manager to verify data entry standards and database manipulation – such as who entered a case or who deleted a case.	Password protect and encrypt data. Secure entry to ATAC with user login and password requirements. Limit access to certain functions and modules based on user.
Account Manager	Security		The Accounts Manager will give those with Manager rights the ability to add, track, delete and modify users in ATAC.	Specify up to 20 different settings allowing or disallowing the user certain permissions and abilities in ATAC. Add, edit, and delete users with the account manager. View user activity, including the records that the user is responsible for adding or modifying.
