Accessing your data
Straight out of the box, ATAC gives you the ability to connect to your data through an ODBC or SQL Server connection.
Records Management System Translation
Data Juggler, our data translation software, is used to extract data from your RMS and create a standardized crime analysis database for easy analysis. Using Data Juggler to extract data from your RMS also allows you to seamlessly share your data using ATACRAIDS. In addition, once your data translation routine is set up you can set Data Juggler to run scheduled data extractions and also automatic uploads into ATACRAIDS.
Regional data sharing
ATACRAIDS. ATAC fully integrates with ATACRAIDS, a secure crime data sharing solution for Law Enforcement agencies. ATACRAIDS provides nationwide views of crime data. ATAC users can easily participate in ATACRAIDS with just a click.
Community policing with RAIDS Online. With the purchase of an ATACRAIDS subscription, your agency will have the option to also share limited crime data with the public through RAIDS Online.
Administrative controls
Manager accounts. Manager level users can view individual user activity within ATAC, as well as set a user's access to specific features and data editing tools.
User accounts. All users can adjust a number of personal preferences related to grid preferences, data display and SQL standards.
Deployment
Stand-alone Installation. The client's computer contains all necessary drivers as well as the tables database and administrative database. For ease of use, all layouts and application files are also stored locally.
Network Installation. In a network environment all users login to a central administrative database, share layouts and use a central tables database. This allows for increased security and standardizes the tables that all users work with.
Licensing
Single License. A single user license allows you to install ATAC on a single workstation.
Site License. A site license allows you to provide ATAC to an unlimited number of workstations at one physical location.
