Tabs
Map, Data Grid, Analytics and Metadata tabs provide different views of the data that are currently of interest to the user.

Density Layers
Public users have the ability to create density maps based on the data in their current view. This helps the public interpret crime hotspots in their area.

Data at every level
Choropleth maps and point data is displayed at every level of zoom.

Meaningful, visually stunning graphs help users visualize crime trends in their area. Graphs automatically update based on the data that is displayed on the map, giving user's full control over what data they would like to analyze.
It is important for the public to feel confident in the data that they are viewing. RAIDS Online’s Metadata tab displays useful information about the data that is being displayed.

- Breakdown of geocoding accuracy of the data in the current view
RAIDS Blog
The RAIDS Blog communicates directly to the public with useful information about understanding crime data. The blog educates users on the RAIDS Online interface, provides information about how to interpret different analytical features within the application, and provides important insight about how to interpret crime data as a whole.
RAIDS Online also displays a feed of the blog’s most recent and most viewed posts to ensure that they have the information they need.
Citizens on Patrol
Citizens on Patrol improves communication between law enforcement and the public about current crime bulletins. Citizens who sign up for this feature can receive email alerts and text messages directly from law enforcement about current crime bulletins. The alerts include contact information so the community can contact a law enforcement representative with any information they may have about the incident.
Neighborhood Watch
The public can sign up for email alerts about recent crime activity in their neighborhood. Users simply input an address and search radius to receive updates for that specific area.
Request to share
The public can request that their agency start sharing their data with them. Public users who navigate to an area that isn’t displaying crime data can request that the agency start sharing their data.
